I finally tried to use my CITI EASY DEALS reward today thinking I've saved enough only to find out that this is the WORST rewards system ever created. The program is setup for you to buy merchandise, travel, car rental, etc. You pay the difference minus the rewards points. For example, something costs $100 - $10/PTS rewards, you pay $90.00. The problem is the items you think your getting a deal you can find it cheaper then what you would pay using your rewards points. So your screwed both ways, you pay more for the item and the so called REWARDS points you think you're saving are worthless because you're already getting the deal without using your REWARDS. If you're a smart shoppers you already know how to find the best deals for products and these deals are better then what you would use this rewards pts for.

So tell me how does a program like this exist. Let me tell you. They scammed me to thinking this program was like other programs out there. Therefore, I didn't do my due diligence which I admit is my fault. I just kept spending with the idea that one day I will use these points for a vacation somewhere. Then when the day comes and you read the fine print you realized that you've been scammed out of 5 years of happily spending on a worthless CARD.

BTW, I did the math. I have 6000 worthless points. If I never earned another pt, (which I won't because I cut my card up in pieces and sent it with my last payment) I believe on average I can save $15/pts for every $100 you spend I would have to spend $40,000 buying there the *** *** they have on the program.

I called in to speak to CS about my options to dissolving my pts. I was told I have no option but to use the points exactly as it was setup. I asked if I can donate my pts to charity like some other rewards program offer. "NO," was the response.

CONCLUSION: YOU MUST BE *** TO THINK YOU'RE GETTING SOMETHING WITH CITI EASY DEALS.
